The BCS bowls fire back up tonight after a night off with Stanford playing what I would consider the surprise BCS team in Virginia Tech. After starting the season with back-to-back losses to Boise State (respectable) and James Madison (unacceptable), the Hokies reeled off 11 straight wins in route to another ACC title. Credit Frank Beamer for righting the ship and getting his boys back on track.
Tonight, however, they are going to have to stop the top NFL-prospect QB in the nation in Andrew Luck. And that is much easier said than done. The Heisman runner-up has been a stud all season, even if most people didn't know how he was until about 2/3 of the way through the year. Dude is a stud and will be cashing some major checks very soon.
