Barcelona beat Lakers in NBA European tour

MADRID, Oct. 7 -- Euroleague champions FC Barcelona edged NBA champions the Los Angeles Lakers 92-88 in Barcelona on Thursday.

Pete Mickael scored game high 26 points, grabbed 13 rebounds in the game against NBA superstar Kobe Bryant.

Pau Gasol scored 25 points while Bryant, who is playing after a right knee operation, made two of 15 shots and converted 11 out of 12 free throws in his 25-minute play.
